All goods and services specified in this Purchase Order shall be delivered or rendered at the Politician's constituency office address: 12 Victoria Street, Manchester, M3 2AB, United Kingdom, unless otherwise stated in the individual line items. The supplier is required to complete all deliveries and installations no later than 30 June 2025. The Politician's office manager, Mr. David Ashworth, shall be the designated point of contact for all delivery coordination, site access, and acceptance inspections within United Kingdom Manchester. Any delays in delivery must be communicated in writing to the Politician's office no fewer than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled delivery date.
Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made by BACS bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice and successful acceptance of all goods and services. The Politician's office shall not be liable for any late payment penalties arising from disputes regarding the quality or completeness of delivered items. A 2% early payment discount shall apply if the supplier submits the invoice within five (5) business days of completion and the Politician's office settles the balance within fourteen (14) days. All payments are subject to the Politician's office confirming that the expenditure complies with the UK Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 and the Electoral Commission's guidance on political spending in the United Kingdom Manchester region.
This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the courts of Manchester, United Kingdom. The supplier warrants that all goods supplied are new, of merchantable quality, and fit for the purpose described herein. The Politician's office reserves the right to inspect all delivered goods and services and to reject any items that do not conform to the specifications outlined in this document. The supplier shall maintain adequate public liability insurance (minimum £5,000,000) and professional indemnity insurance throughout the duration of this Purchase Order. All data and materials produced under this Purchase Order for the Politician's office shall remain the intellectual property of the Politician and the Manchester Central constituency. The supplier shall comply with all applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), when handling any personal information of the Politician, staff, or constituents.
This Purchase Order is authorised and binding upon the signatures of the parties below. The Politician's office confirms that the funds allocated for this Purchase Order have been approved in accordance with the party's internal financial controls and the statutory reporting requirements applicable to elected representatives in the United Kingdom Manchester area.
