Note: All laboratory equipment and chemical reagents must be delivered directly to the Department of Chemistry Laboratory, Building 7, Legon Campus, Ghana Accra. The Professor's office staff will be present to receive and inspect all items upon delivery. The supplier is required to provide a full warranty certificate for the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (minimum 24 months) and the Gas Chromatography Columns (minimum 12 months). Delivery within Ghana Accra city limits is included in the quoted price.Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the University of Ghana and the named supplier upon acceptance and signature by both parties.
- All items must conform to the specifications outlined in the Professor's original requisition form (Ref: UG-REQ-2025-0892) and applicable Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) regulations.
- Delivery of all goods shall be completed no later than 28 June 2025 at the designated location in Ghana Accra. Late delivery shall attract a penalty of 1% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice and confirmed delivery of all items.
- The supplier warrants that all goods are new, unused, and free from defects unless otherwise specified. Any defective items must be replaced within fourteen (14) days at the supplier's own cost.
- Chemical reagents must be accompanied by valid Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and must comply with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Ghana regulations for hazardous materials handling.
- This Purchase Order may not be assigned or transferred to any third party without the prior written consent of the University of Ghana Procurement Office.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, with the seat of arbitration in Ghana Accra.
- The Professor's office shall conduct a quality inspection within five (5) working days of delivery. Any discrepancies must be reported in writing to the Procurement Office.
