1. This Purchase Order is issued by Professor Dr. Miriam Levi-Hadad, acting as the principal investigator and authorized procurement officer for the Department of Molecular Biology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. All items specified herein are intended exclusively for the use of the Professor's research group and associated graduate students at the Israel Jerusalem campus.
2. The supplier, MedLab Scientific Supplies Ltd., acknowledges receipt of this Purchase Order and agrees to fulfill all line items in accordance with the specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines stated above. The supplier confirms that all equipment will be delivered, installed, and calibrated at the designated laboratory location in Israel Jerusalem no later than the required delivery date of 15 July 2025.
3. The Professor reserves the right to inspect all goods upon delivery at the Israel Jerusalem campus. Any items found to be defective, damaged, or non-conforming to the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order shall be returned or replaced at the supplier's sole expense within fourteen (14) calendar days of the inspection.
4. Payment of the total amount of 913,615.00 ILS (Nine Hundred Thirteen Thousand Six Hundred Fifteen New Israeli Shekels) shall be processed by the university's Accounts Payable department within thirty (30) days of the supplier's written acknowledgment of this Purchase Order and the submission of a valid tax invoice compliant with Israeli tax regulations.
5. All equipment covered by this Purchase Order shall carry a minimum two-year manufacturer's warranty, commencing from the date of successful installation and calibration at the Professor's laboratory in Israel Jerusalem. The supplier shall provide a dedicated technical support hotline accessible during standard business hours in Israel.
6. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this document shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jerusalem, Israel.
7. The Professor and the university retain all intellectual property rights arising from research conducted using the equipment and materials procured under this Purchase Order. The supplier shall not claim any ownership or licensing interest in such intellectual property.
