Terms and Conditions of This Purchase Order

  1. This Purchase Order is governed by the civil code of the Italian Republic and all applicable regulations of the European Union regarding public procurement within Italy Rome and its metropolitan area.
  2. All goods must be delivered to the Sapienza University of Rome campus, Piazza Bocca della Verità, 1, 00186 Roma, Italy, at the office and laboratory of Professor Dr. Alessandro Fontana, Room 214, Building C, Faculty of Letters and Philosophy.
  3. The supplier shall bear full responsibility for the safe transport, insurance, and installation of all items listed in this Purchase Order. Any damage incurred during transit within the Rome metropolitan area shall be the sole responsibility of the supplier.
  4. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated Italian bank account within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice and confirmation of satisfactory delivery by the Professor's administrative office.
  5. All equipment must comply with current Italian and European safety standards (CE marking). The Professor's laboratory is subject to periodic inspections by the university's Health and Safety Committee, and all procured items must meet or exceed the required specifications.
  6. The supplier is required to provide a minimum two-year warranty on all electronic equipment and a five-year warranty on furniture and storage units. Warranty service must be available within the Rome, Italy area with a response time not exceeding forty-eight hours.
  7. Any modifications, substitutions, or delays to this Purchase Order must be communicated in writing to the Office of Academic Procurement at Sapienza University of Rome no later than five business days prior to the scheduled delivery date.
