All items listed in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the following address in Japan Kyoto:

Delivery must be coordinated with Professor Yamamoto's laboratory manager, Ms. Aiko Sato (ext. 4412), no fewer than five business days in advance. All heavy instrumentation (Items 001, 002, and 003) requires a dedicated freight elevator and two-person handling team. The vendor is responsible for full installation, calibration, and a 48-hour operational test period prior to final acceptance by the Professor.
1. This Purchase Order is issued under the procurement regulations of Kyoto University and the Japanese Government Procurement Act. All transactions are governed by the laws of Japan.
2. The Professor, as the principal investigator and authorized signatory for this Purchase Order, retains final acceptance authority over all delivered goods and services. No payment shall be released until the Professor issues a written Certificate of Acceptance.
3. All equipment must comply with Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) and applicable safety regulations enforced by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in Japan Kyoto.
4. The vendor warrants that all goods are new, unused, and free from defects for a minimum period of 24 months from the date of installation in Japan Kyoto.
5. Late delivery beyond the Required Delivery Date shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day, up to a maximum of 10%.
6. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the vendor's designated account in Japanese Yen within 45 days of receipt of a valid invoice and the Professor's Certificate of Acceptance.
7. This Purchase Order may not be assigned or subcontracted without prior written consent from the Professor and the Kyoto University Procurement Office.
Note to Vendor: The Professor's laboratory operates on a strict schedule aligned with the JSPS grant reporting cycle. Any delays in delivery or installation may affect the Professor's ability to meet federal reporting deadlines.
