NOTE: This Purchase Order is issued specifically to support the research activities of Professor Adewale O. Okonkwo at the University of Lagos, Nigeria Lagos. All equipment must be delivered, installed, and calibrated at the designated laboratory location. The supplier is required to provide a minimum two-year warranty on all major instruments and a comprehensive operator training session for the Professor and his research team prior to final acceptance.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PURCHASE ORDER

  1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the procurement policies of the University of Lagos, Nigeria Lagos.
  2. The supplier shall deliver all items listed in this Purchase Order to the University of Lagos campus, Nigeria Lagos, no later than the required delivery date stated above. Late delivery shall attract a penalty of 1% of the total order value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
  3. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice and confirmation of satisfactory delivery and installation by Professor Okonkwo and the Procurement Division.
  4. All equipment must comply with Nigerian Standards Organisation (SON) regulations and international safety standards. The supplier shall provide all relevant certificates of conformity and calibration reports.
  5. The supplier warrants that all goods are new, unused, and free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period shall be a minimum of twenty-four (24) months from the date of installation.
  6. Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
  7. This Purchase Order becomes effective upon signature by both parties and the approval of the University of Lagos Finance Department. No modification shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
  8. The supplier shall maintain adequate insurance coverage for all goods in transit to Nigeria Lagos and shall bear all risk of loss or damage until final acceptance by the Buyer.
  9. Confidentiality: The supplier agrees to treat all research-related information obtained through this Purchase Order as strictly confidential and shall not disclose it to any third party without written consent from Professor Okonkwo.
