All prices are quoted in Saudi Riyals (SAR). VAT of 15% is applied in accordance with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regulations of Saudi Arabia.
The supplier shall deliver all items listed in this Purchase Order to the Professor's designated laboratory and office at King Fahd University of Science and Technology, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of Purchase Order acknowledgment. Installation and commissioning of all equipment shall be completed within ten (10) business days following physical delivery. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and customs clearance within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Delivery shall be made to the loading dock of Building 12, Riyadh Campus, between 08:00 and 16:00 KSA time, Monday through Friday.
Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Saudi Arabia. The payment schedule is as follows: 30% advance payment upon signing of this Purchase Order; 50% upon delivery and acceptance of all goods at the Riyadh campus; and 20% upon successful completion of installation, commissioning, and the Professor's final sign-off. All invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (KFUST-2025-RYD-04872) and include the supplier's VAT registration number. Payment shall be processed within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice.
6.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the regulations of the Saudi Arabian General Authority for Competition (SAGAC).
6.2 All equipment must comply with Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) standards and carry valid conformity certificates.
6.3 The Professor or his authorized representative shall conduct a quality inspection upon delivery. Any non-conforming items must be replaced within fifteen (15) days at the supplier's sole expense.
6.4 The supplier warrants all equipment for a minimum of twenty-four (24) months from the date of installation in Riyadh.
6.5 This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement between the Buyer and the Supplier, countersigned by the Professor's department head.
6.6 The supplier shall maintain full confidentiality regarding the Professor's research data and any proprietary information encountered during installation or service in Saudi Arabia.
6.7 In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve matters through arbitration in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in accordance with the Saudi Arbitration Center rules.
