Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- Scope: This Purchase Order is issued exclusively for the procurement of laboratory equipment, furniture, and services required by Professor Dr. Somchai Rattanakul for his research activities at the Bangkok campus of Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. All items must be new, unused, and in original manufacturer packaging.
- Delivery: The supplier shall deliver all items to the Professor's laboratory at Building 7, Floor 3, Chulalongkorn University, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand, no later than 30 July 2025. Delivery must be scheduled in coordination with the Professor's office to ensure laboratory staff are present for unloading and initial inspection.
- Installation & Commissioning: The supplier is responsible for the complete installation, calibration, and commissioning of all instruments at the Bangkok delivery site. A written commissioning report must be submitted to the Professor within 7 business days of installation completion.
- Warranty: All equipment carries a minimum 24-month warranty from the date of successful commissioning. The supplier shall provide on-site repair service within Bangkok, Thailand, within 48 hours of a warranty claim notification by the Professor or his designated laboratory manager.
- Payment: Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within 30 calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice (Fap Kaw) issued in accordance with Thai Revenue Department regulations. The invoice must reference this Purchase Order number (TH-BKK-2025-04782).
- Compliance: All equipment must comply with applicable Thai regulations, including TISI standards, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) guidelines, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act B.E. 2554 (2011) as enforced in Bangkok, Thailand.
- Training: The supplier shall provide a minimum of five (5) days of hands-on training for the Professor and up to eight (8) research assistants at the Bangkok laboratory. Training materials must be provided in both Thai and English.
- Acceptance: Final acceptance of this Purchase Order is contingent upon the Professor's written sign-off confirming that all items have been delivered, installed, calibrated, and are fully operational. Acceptance shall be documented on a separate Acceptance Certificate.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved under the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. The competent court of jurisdiction shall be the Bangkok Metropolitan Court.
- Amendments: No modification to this Purchase Order shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by both the authorized representative of the issuing institution and the supplier. Verbal agreements, including those made during on-site visits in Bangkok, Thailand, shall not constitute a valid amendment.
