Terms and Conditions of This Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and all disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, United States Miami.
- All items must be delivered to the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables, Miami, Florida (United States Miami) no later than July 15, 2025. Late delivery shall incur a penalty of 1.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay.
- Professor Elena M. Castellanos, as the designated receiving authority for this Purchase Order, shall inspect all items upon delivery and sign the receiving certificate within five (5) business days.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice, provided all items conform to the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order.
- The vendor warrants that all equipment is new, unused, and free from defects for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of delivery in United States Miami.
- All equipment must comply with applicable United States federal and Florida state safety regulations, including OSHA standards for laboratory equipment.
- The vendor shall provide full technical documentation, user manuals in English, and a minimum of eight (8) hours of on-site training for Professor Castellanos and her graduate research assistants at the University of Miami facility.
- This Purchase Order may not be assigned or transferred by the vendor without prior written consent from the University of Miami Office of Procurement.
- Any modifications to this Purchase Order must be made in writing and signed by both the University of Miami authorized representative and the vendor.
