The Project Manager engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties within the Australia Brisbane metropolitan region:
- Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with Queensland Government infrastructure delivery timelines.
- Manage all project stakeholders including Brisbane City Council, Queensland Transport and Main Roads, local community groups, and subcontractors operating within the Brisbane River corridor.
- Prepare and manage the project budget, including cost forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly financial reporting to Meridian Infrastructure Solutions Pty Ltd.
- Conduct risk management in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management – Guidelines, maintaining a live risk register specific to the Brisbane project environment.
- Ensure all project activities comply with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) regulations, the Building Act 1975 (Qld), and all applicable Australian Standards.
- Coordinate with environmental consultants regarding Brisbane-specific ecological considerations, including the protection of the Moreton Bay ecosystem and local waterway management requirements.
- Manage change control processes, ensuring all variations are documented, approved, and reflected in the project baseline before implementation.
- Attend all mandatory project governance meetings, including the fortnightly Brisbane Project Steering Committee and the monthly Queensland Infrastructure Delivery Review.
- Prepare the final Project Closure Report and ensure all documentation is archived in accordance with the Queensland Government Records Management Policy.
5.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in accordance with the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) procedures or the Supreme Court of Queensland, Brisbane.
5.2 The Project Manager shall maintain all necessary professional indemnity insurance (minimum $20,000,000) and public liability insurance (minimum $20,000,000) throughout the duration of this engagement in Australia Brisbane.
5.3 The Project Manager must hold a minimum of 10 years of relevant project management experience in Australian infrastructure or construction projects, with demonstrated experience in the Brisbane or Queensland region. Certification as a PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent Australian credential (e.g., AIPM Certified Practitioner) is required.
5.4 All invoices submitted under this Purchase Order must include the supplier's ABN, GST registration number, and a reference to this Purchase Order number (MIS-2025-PM-00847). Invoices not meeting these requirements will be returned and payment will be delayed.
5.5 The Project Manager shall comply with all Australian workplace health and safety legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld), and shall maintain a valid White Card (General Construction Induction) for all site visits within the Brisbane project area.
5.6 Meridian Infrastructure Solutions Pty Ltd reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice if the Project Manager fails to meet the performance milestones outlined in the Statement of Work. In such an event, payment shall be made only for services rendered up to the date of termination.
5.7 All intellectual property, project documentation, and reports generated by the Project Manager in the course of this engagement shall be the sole property of Meridian Infrastructure Solutions Pty Ltd.
5.8 The Project Manager shall comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and all applicable data protection obligations when handling personal information of project stakeholders in Australia Brisbane.
