All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD). Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 10% is applied in accordance with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations. The Psychologist holds a valid ABN and is registered for GST purposes.
Terms and Conditions
- Scope of Practice: The Psychologist shall provide all services in strict compliance with the Australian Psychology Board (APB) registration requirements, the Psychology Board of Australia Code of Conduct, and all applicable Victorian state legislation governing the practice of psychology in Australia Melbourne.
- Service Delivery Location: All in-person services shall be delivered at the buyer's premises located at 120 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, or at the Psychologist's registered practice at 85 Swanston Street, Melbourne, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Telehealth sessions shall comply with the Australian Government's telehealth service guidelines.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the Psychologist. Invoices shall be submitted monthly by the 5th business day. Payment shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank account nominated by the Psychologist on the invoice.
- Confidentiality and Privacy: The Psychologist shall adhere to the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and all APB ethical guidelines regarding client confidentiality. All client records shall be stored securely in Australia Melbourne and shall not be transferred outside of Australia without explicit written consent from the client and the buyer.
- Insurance: The Psychologist shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than AUD 5,000,000 per claim and public liability insurance of no less than AUD 10,000,000 throughout the duration of this Purchase Order. Certificates of insurance shall be provided upon request.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the buyer shall be liable for all services rendered up to the date of termination. The Psychologist shall ensure a smooth transition of all ongoing client care to a successor psychologist nominated by the buyer.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under this Purchase Order shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation in Melbourne, Victoria, in accordance with the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) procedures. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Victoria, Australia.
- Compliance: The Psychologist warrants that they hold a current general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, maintain ongoing professional development as required by the APB, and shall notify the buyer in writing within five (5) business days of any change in registration status, disciplinary action, or material change in capacity to deliver services.
- Intellectual Property: All clinical reports, assessments, and documentation produced under this Purchase Order shall be the property of the buyer. The Psychologist retains the right to use de-identified, aggregated data for professional development and research purposes, subject to full anonymisation and compliance with Australian research ethics standards.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia.
Acceptance and Authorisation
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and line items specified in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Psychologist's professional services in Australia Melbourne.
