This Purchase Order is issued by Meridian Health Imaging Group Pty Ltd to procure the professional services of a qualified Consultant Radiologist for the provision of diagnostic imaging interpretation, reporting, and clinical consultation services at our Melbourne facility. The Radiologist engaged under this Purchase Order shall hold current registration with the Medical Board of Australia, membership of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists (RACR), and demonstrate a minimum of ten (10) years of post-qualification experience in diagnostic radiology.
The Radiologist shall be responsible for the interpretation and reporting of all imaging modalities available at the Australia Melbourne facility, including but not limited to computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), digital radiography, ultrasound, and mammography. All reports must comply with the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Authority (ARPANSA) guidelines and the standards set forth by the RACR.

6.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. All disputes arising from this Purchase Order relating to the Radiologist engagement shall be resolved in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) procedures in Melbourne.
6.2 The Radiologist must maintain comprehensive professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of AUD $10,000,000 per claim, as required by the Medical Board of Australia. Certificates of insurance must be provided prior to the commencement date specified in this Purchase Order.
6.3 All patient data handled by the Radiologist under this Purchase Order must comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Data storage and transmission must occur within Australia Melbourne or approved Australian data centres.
6.4 The Radiologist shall adhere to the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Authority (ARPANSA) dose optimisation principles and the RACR reporting standards for all imaging interpretations delivered under this Purchase Order.
6.5 Failure to meet the agreed service levels outlined in the attached Service Level Agreement (SLA) may result in a reduction of the Purchase Order value by up to 5% per month of non-compliance, at the sole discretion of the Purchasing Entity.
6.6 This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, all outstanding invoices for services rendered up to the termination date shall be settled within the standard Net 30 payment terms.
Note: This Purchase Order constitutes a binding procurement document for the engagement of a Consultant Radiologist at the Meridian Health Imaging Group facility in Australia Melbourne.
