3. Qualifications and Requirements for the Robotics Engineer

The Robotics Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must satisfy the following minimum qualifications and professional criteria:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics from a HEC-recognized university in Pakistan or an internationally accredited institution.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in industrial robotics, mechatronics, or automated manufacturing systems, with at least two (2) years of hands-on experience in a Pakistan Karachi-based manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including C++, Python, and ROS/ROS2 frameworks, as well as experience with Siemens, FANUC, or ABB robotic controllers.
  • Valid membership in good standing with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and compliance with all local labor regulations applicable to the Karachi metropolitan area.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within the operational and cultural context of the Pakistan Karachi industrial corridor, including familiarity with Sindh Industrial Development Authority (SIDA) compliance requirements.
4. Terms and Conditions
  1. Payment Terms: Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in three (3) equal installments: 40% upon successful onboarding of the Robotics Engineer, 30% upon completion of the first six (6) months of service, and 30% upon final project delivery and acceptance. All payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Pakistan Karachi.
  2. Delivery and Commencement: The Robotics Engineer must report for duty at the KAAI facility in Pakistan Karachi no later than 1 August 2025. Failure to commence within seven (7) calendar days of the stated date shall constitute a material breach of this Purchase Order.
  3. Performance Standards: The Robotics Engineer shall adhere to all quality, safety, and productivity benchmarks established by KAAI. Monthly performance reports shall be submitted to the Procurement Department of KAAI, Pakistan Karachi office, by the 5th of each subsequent month.
  4. Intellectual Property: All designs, code, documentation, and inventions created by the Robotics Engineer during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of KAAI. The supplier warrants that no third-party IP rights shall be infringed.
  5. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination for cause, the terminating party shall be entitled to a full refund of any pre-paid amounts for services not yet rendered.
  6. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Karachi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
  7. Confidentiality: The Robotics Engineer and the supplier shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, trade secrets, and operational data of KAAI. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of three (3) years.
  8. Compliance: The supplier shall ensure that the Robotics Engineer is fully compliant with all applicable labor laws, tax obligations, and social security contributions as mandated by the Government of Sindh and the Federal Government of Pakistan.
5. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Robotics Engineer in Pakistan Karachi. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon execution by both authorized representatives.
