1. Scope of Purchase OrderThis Purchase Order is issued by Green Valley International School, Bangalore, to procure the professional services of a qualified School Counselor for the academic year 2025–2026. The engagement is governed by the terms and conditions specified herein and shall be executed in full compliance with the regulations of the Karnataka State Education Department and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) guidelines applicable in India Bangalore. The School Counselor shall provide comprehensive psychological, emotional, and academic support services to students ranging from Grade 6 through Grade 12, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment within the school premises located in the Whitefield region of Bangalore, Karnataka.

- Payment shall be made in monthly installments via NEFT/RTGS to the vendor's designated bank account in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
- A 10% advance payment of ₹1,46,320 shall be released within 7 working days of mutual acceptance of this Purchase Order.
- Remaining monthly payments shall be due on the 5th of each subsequent month, subject to submission of a monthly service report by the School Counselor.
- Payment for one-time items (Line Item 6) shall be released in two equal installments: 50% upon program design approval and 50% upon successful implementation and quarterly review.
- All payments are subject to deduction of applicable TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) as per the Income Tax Act, 1961, applicable in India Bangalore.
- The School Counselor shall maintain strict confidentiality of all student records in compliance with the Right to Information Act, 2005, and applicable data protection norms in India.
- The vendor shall ensure that the School Counselor holds a valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) or the Association for Indian Counselling Psychologists (AICP).
- The School Counselor shall be physically present at the school premises in Whitefield, Bangalore, for a minimum of 40 hours per week during the academic term.
- The vendor shall provide a replacement School Counselor of equivalent qualifications within 7 working days in the event of the primary counselor's unavailability exceeding 10 consecutive days.
- This Purchase Order is subject to the school's annual budget approval by the Board of Governors, Green Valley International School, Bangalore.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice. In such an event, payment shall be made pro-rata for services rendered up to the termination date.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- The School Counselor shall comply with all CBSE norms regarding student welfare, child protection, and mandatory reporting of safeguarding concerns as mandated in India Bangalore.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and scope of work outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a School Counselor at Green Valley International School, Bangalore, India.
