- This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within 15 calendar days from the date of issue. Failure to accept within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- The School Counselor assigned under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum qualification of M.A. in Psychology or M.Phil. in Counseling Psychology from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India, and must possess a valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) or the Indian Association of Counselling Psychologists (IACP).
- The School Counselor shall report directly to the Principal of Shree Vidya Mandir International School, Mumbai, and shall adhere to the school's code of conduct, child protection policies, and the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, as applicable in the state of Maharashtra, India.
- Payment shall be made on a monthly basis via NEFT/RTGS to the bank account designated by the Service Provider. The first payment shall be due within 30 days of the commencement of services (1 April 2025).
- The Service Provider shall maintain strict confidentiality of all student records, counseling notes, and personal data in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable data protection norms in India Mumbai.
- The School Counselor shall submit a written monthly progress report to the Principal by the 5th of each month, detailing the number of sessions conducted, student concerns addressed, and any referrals made to external mental health professionals in Mumbai.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice of 30 days. In the event of termination, payment shall be made pro-rata for services rendered up to the date of termination.
- All disputes arising under this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
- The Service Provider shall ensure that the School Counselor carries valid professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of INR 50,00,000 (Fifty Lakh Rupees) for the duration of this engagement.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute an employment contract. The School Counselor shall be engaged as a professional service provider and shall not be deemed an employee of the school for the purposes of the Indian labor laws.
