1. Description of Purchase Order and Scope of ServicesThis Purchase Order is issued by Shree Himalaya International Academy, Kathmandu, Nepal, for the engagement of a qualified School Counselor to provide comprehensive student counseling, psychological support, academic guidance, and behavioral intervention services. The School Counselor shall be stationed at the school premises located in Baneshwor, Nepal Kathmandu, and shall report directly to the Principal and the Student Welfare Committee. The services described herein are intended to support the academic, emotional, and social development of students ranging from Grade 1 through Grade 12 during the academic session 2082/2083 (2025/2026).

3.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Nepal and the Education Act, 2028 (1971) as amended. All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Kathmandu Metropolitan City dispute resolution mechanism or the Nepal Education Tribunal, as applicable.
3.2 The School Counselor shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all student records, counseling sessions, and personal information in accordance with the Nepal Privacy Act and the Child Act, 2048 (1991). Any breach of confidentiality shall result in immediate termination of this Purchase Order and legal action.
3.3 The School Counselor must hold a valid Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field, a professional license issued by the Nepal Education Authority, and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in school-based counseling within Nepal or an equivalent international setting.
3.4 Payment shall be made on a monthly basis within fifteen (15) calendar days of the submission of the monthly service report. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the School Counselor. The school shall deduct applicable withholding tax as mandated by the Inland Revenue Department of Nepal.
3.5 The School Counselor shall work a standard schedule of 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at the school premises in Baneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal. Additional hours for parent meetings or emergency interventions shall be compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
3.6 Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of termination, the School Counselor shall complete all ongoing student case files and provide a transition report to the school administration.
3.7 The School Counselor shall attend all school staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and any special programs organized by the school in Kathmandu. Participation in the annual teacher training program conducted by the Kathmandu Valley Education Board is mandatory.
3.8 The School Counselor shall maintain a dedicated counseling room at the school premises, equipped with appropriate furniture, privacy screens, and reference materials. The school shall provide basic office supplies, internet access, and a telephone line.
3.9 This Purchase Order does not constitute an employment contract. The School Counselor is engaged as an independent professional service provider. The School Counselor shall be responsible for their own social security contributions and professional liability insurance.
3.10 All deliverables, reports, and student records produced under this Purchase Order shall remain the property of Shree Himalaya International Academy, Kathmandu, Nepal, and shall be stored in the school's records office.
4. Acceptance and AuthorizationBy signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the School Counselor at the specified institution in Nepal Kathmandu. This document constitutes a binding agreement effective from the date of the last signature.
