Terms and Conditions

Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar, including the Qatar Labour Law (Law No. 14 of 2004, as amended) and the Qatar Civil Code. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order regarding the engagement of the School Counselor shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Doha, Qatar.
Commencement Date: The School Counselor shall commence duties no later than 1 September 2025, coinciding with the start of the 2025–2026 academic year at Al Noor International Academy, Doha. The vendor shall ensure all immigration, work permit, and QID documentation is completed no later than 15 August 2025.
Payment Terms: The total Purchase Order value of QAR 257,000.00 shall be paid as follows: (a) 20% advance payment (QAR 51,400.00) upon signature of this Purchase Order; (b) 60% (QAR 154,200.00) payable in twelve (12) equal monthly installments of QAR 12,850.00 commencing 1 September 2025; (c) 20% (QAR 51,400.00) payable upon successful completion of the academic year and submission of the School Counselor's final performance report. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the vendor's designated account in Qatar.
Qualification Verification: The vendor warrants that the School Counselor nominated under this Purchase Order holds all qualifications, licenses, and certifications as stated herein. Al Noor International Academy reserves the right to verify all credentials with the issuing institutions and the Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education prior to commencement of duties.
Compliance with Qatar Regulations: The School Counselor shall comply with all Qatar labor regulations, including working hours (8 hours per day, 48 hours per week), annual leave entitlements (21 working days), and end-of-service gratuity provisions. The vendor shall ensure full compliance with Qatar's child protection laws and safeguarding policies applicable to educational institutions in Doha.
Confidentiality: The School Counselor shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all student records, counseling sessions, and personal data in accordance with Qatar's data protection regulations and the school's internal privacy policy. All student counseling records shall be stored in the school's secure system located in Doha.
Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the School Counselor's end-of-service benefits shall be calculated in accordance with Qatar Labour Law. The vendor shall be responsible for all repatriation costs in the event of termination by the Academy without cause.
Performance Standards: The School Counselor shall conduct a minimum of 15 individual counseling sessions per week, 2 group sessions per week, and participate in all school-wide pastoral care meetings. Performance shall be evaluated quarterly by the Director of Student Services at Al Noor International Academy, Doha.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government-mandated school closures in Qatar, natural disasters, or public health emergencies as declared by the Qatari authorities.
Validity: This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within ten (10) business days from the date of issue. Failure to accept within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
