5.1 Scope of Services. The Social Worker engaged under this Purchase Order shall hold an active, unrestricted registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW). All services shall be delivered in accordance with the Canada Vancouver Community Services Framework and applicable federal and provincial legislation, including the Canada Health Act and the British Columbia Mental Health Act.
5.2 Payment Terms. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-VAN-SW-0047) and include the supplier's Business Number. Payment shall be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the account designated by Coastal Social Services Group Inc.
5.3 Service Location. All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed within the geographic boundaries of Canada Vancouver, including the City of Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, and New Westminster. The Social Worker may travel between these locations as required for client caseload management.
5.4 Compliance and Ethics. The Social Worker shall adhere to the BCCSW Code of Ethics, the Canada Vancouver municipal privacy bylaws, and all applicable data protection regulations under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of British Columbia. Client records shall be maintained in a secure, HIPAA-equivalent compliant system.
5.5 Termination. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Social Worker shall complete all active client transitions and submit a final comprehensive report to the Purchasing Entity within fourteen (14) days of the termination effective date.
5.6 Dispute Resolution. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Canada Vancouver, British Columbia, in accordance with the British Columbia Civil Resolution Tribunal Act. If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia.
5.7 Governing Law. This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
This Purchase Order is authorized for release upon the signatures of both parties below. By signing, each party acknowledges that the terms outlined in this document constitute a binding agreement for the procurement of Social Worker professional services in the Canada Vancouver region.
