1. Scope and Location
This Purchase Order is issued for the engagement of a Social Worker and associated support services to be rendered exclusively within the city of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. All field activities, reporting, and administrative functions shall be conducted from the vendor's office in Indiranagar, Bangalore, and the client's office on MG Road, Bangalore.
2. Qualification Requirements
The Social Worker engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India, and must be registered with the Karnataka State Council for Social Work. A valid Aadhaar-linked PAN card and professional indemnity insurance covering the Bangalore metropolitan area are mandatory.
3. Payment Terms
Payment shall be made on a monthly basis within 30 days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the vendor. The first payment shall be processed within 15 days of the Social Worker commencing duties in Bangalore, India. All payments shall be made via NEFT/RTGS to the vendor's designated bank account. GST shall be charged as per the prevailing Indian tax regulations and shall be supported by a valid GST invoice.
4. Commencement and Duration
The services under this Purchase Order shall commence on 1 July 2025 and shall continue for a period of twelve (12) months, i.e., until 30 June 2026, unless terminated earlier in accordance with Clause 7. The Social Worker shall report for duty at the CWF Bangalore office on the first working day of each month for administrative coordination.
5. Performance and Reporting
The vendor shall ensure that the Social Worker submits a detailed monthly activity report to the CWF Bangalore office by the 5th of the following month. Reports shall include case logs, community session attendance records, photographs (with consent), and a narrative summary of interventions. Quarterly performance reviews shall be conducted jointly by both parties in Bangalore, India.
6. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All beneficiary data handled by the Social Worker shall be treated as strictly confidential in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and applicable Karnataka state privacy regulations. No personal information of beneficiaries shall be disclosed to any third party without written consent.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this Purchase Order by providing thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the vendor shall ensure a smooth transition of the Social Worker's caseload and all ongoing community programmes in Bangalore, India, to the client or a designated successor.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
9. Compliance
The vendor warrants that the Social Worker engaged under this Purchase Order shall comply with all applicable Indian labour laws, Karnataka state regulations, and the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. The vendor shall maintain all statutory registrations and licences valid throughout the term of this Purchase Order.
