This Purchase Order is issued by the Lagos State Community Development Agency and governs the engagement of the named Social Worker for the provision of professional social work services within the Nigeria Lagos metropolitan region. The following terms apply:
- Scope of Work: The Social Worker shall perform all duties in strict accordance with the Code of Ethics of the Nigerian Association of Social Workers and the provisions of the Child Rights Act (2003) as applicable in Lagos State. All interventions must be culturally sensitive and appropriate to the Nigeria Lagos context.
- Commencement and Duration: Services shall commence on 1 July 2025 and continue for a period of twelve (12) months, subject to satisfactory performance reviews conducted quarterly by the Agency.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice and the corresponding quarterly Social Worker progress report. All payments shall be processed through the Agency's designated bank in Nigeria Lagos.
- Compliance: The Social Worker must maintain a valid NASW professional licence throughout the contract period and shall provide evidence of continued professional development (CPD) of no fewer than twenty (20) hours annually.
- Confidentiality: All client information handled by the Social Worker in Nigeria Lagos shall be treated as strictly confidential in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (2023) and the Agency's internal data protection policy.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. The Agency reserves the right to terminate immediately in the event of professional misconduct, breach of ethical standards, or failure to meet performance benchmarks.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Lagos State.
All services under this Purchase Order shall be rendered at the following locations within Nigeria Lagos:
- LSCDA Headquarters, 14 Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos
- Makoko Community Centre, Lagos Island, Lagos
- Ajegunle Local Government Area offices, Lagos
