Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is issued by the Harare Community Development Trust (HCDT) and constitutes a binding agreement for the procurement of Social Worker professional services to be delivered within the Harare, Zimbabwe operational area.
- The Social Worker engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid Level 6 Diploma in Social Work or equivalent qualification and must be registered in good standing with the Zimbabwe Council for Professional Social Workers (ZCPSW). Proof of registration shall be submitted prior to commencement of duties.
- All services rendered by the Social Worker shall comply with the Zimbabwe Social Work Act [Chapter 14:11], the Children's Act [Chapter 5:08], and all applicable regulations of the Ministry of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation, Harare.
- The Social Worker shall report directly to the HCDT Social Services Division Manager and shall operate from the HCDT premises located at 12 Samora Machel Avenue, Harare, Zimbabwe, with fieldwork conducted across designated Harare communities.
- Payment for all services under this Purchase Order shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice from the supplier. Payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by Professional Social Services Zimbabwe (PSSZ).
- The supplier (PSSZ) warrants that the Social Worker assigned to this Purchase Order shall not be concurrently engaged by any other organisation in a manner that would create a conflict of interest or compromise the quality of service delivery in Harare.
- Confidentiality: The Social Worker shall adhere to strict confidentiality protocols in accordance with the Zimbabwe Data Protection Act [Chapter 11:12]. All client records and case files shall be stored securely at the HCDT Harare office and shall not be removed from the premises without written authorisation.
- This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Social Worker shall complete all outstanding case files and hand over all client records to the HCDT Social Services Division.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Harare, Zimbabwe, in accordance with the Zimbabwe Mediation Act. If mediation fails, disputes shall be referred to the High Court of Zimbabwe, Harare.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any amendments to this document must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
