  • Leading code review processes, establishing coding standards, and ensuring adherence to ISO/IEC 25010 software quality standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams based in China Beijing to deliver product features aligned with quarterly business objectives.
  • Managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for production systems serving the Chinese domestic market.
  • Providing technical mentorship to junior developers and contributing to the internal Software Engineer development program.
  • Ensuring all software deliverables comply with the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China and the Data Security Law effective as of September 2021.

The Software Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must satisfy the following minimum qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution recognized in China Beijing or internationally.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive professional experience as a Software Engineer in enterprise software development.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
  • Working knowledge of Chinese data protection regulations and experience operating within the China Beijing technology ecosystem.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (HSK Level 5 or above) and professional working proficiency in English.
  • A valid work permit or residence permit for the People's Republic of China, or eligibility to obtain one prior to the commencement date specified in this Purchase Order.

  1. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China.   2. Confidentiality: The Software Engineer shall be bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Law of the PRC. All proprietary information, source code, and business data accessed during the term of this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the Buyer.
  3. Intellectual Property: All work product, inventions, software code, and documentation created by the Software Engineer in the course of performing duties under this Purchase Order shall be deemed work-for-hire and shall vest exclusively in the Buyer.
  4. Compliance: The Seller warrants that the Software Engineer shall comply with all applicable labor laws, immigration regulations, and tax obligations as enforced in China Beijing. The Seller assumes full responsibility for the Software Engineer's social insurance contributions and statutory benefits as required by Chinese labor law.
  5. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of material breach, termination may be effected with fourteen (14) days' notice. Upon termination, the Software Engineer shall complete all outstanding deliverables and return all Buyer property.
  6. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulatory changes affecting operations in China Beijing, or public health emergencies.
  7. Performance Standards: The Software Engineer's performance shall be evaluated quarterly against predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established jointly by both parties at the commencement of this Purchase Order.
