This Purchase Order is issued by Al-Nakheel Technology Solutions W.L.L. to procure the professional services of a qualified Software Engineer to be deployed and performing duties at the company's primary office located in Kuwait, Kuwait City. The engagement of this Software Engineer is critical to the successful delivery of the company's enterprise digital transformation programme, which encompasses the development, testing, and maintenance of proprietary software applications serving the Kuwaiti financial services and telecommunications sectors.
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for the following scope of work while stationed in Kuwait, Kuwait City:
- Design, development, and implementation of scalable microservices architecture using Java, Python, and C# within the company's on-premise data centre in Kuwait City.
- Full-stack development of web-based applications supporting internal business operations, with a minimum of 80% code coverage through automated unit and integration testing.
- Collaboration with the in-house DevOps team in Kuwait City to establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployment workflows, and infrastructure-as-code configurations.
- Code review, technical mentoring, and knowledge transfer to junior developers based at the Kuwait City office to ensure sustainable capability building.
- Participation in agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings conducted in accordance with the company's established software development lifecycle in Kuwait, Kuwait City.
- Compliance with all data protection and information security regulations as mandated by the Kuwaiti Authority for Public Information and the National Cyber Security Centre.

All amounts stated in this Purchase Order are denominated in Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes, levies, and statutory deductions as prescribed by the Government of Kuwait. No additional charges shall be incurred without prior written approval from the Buyer's procurement department in Kuwait City.
- Place of Work: The Software Engineer shall report for duty at the Buyer's designated office in Kuwait, Kuwait City, Al-Salem Tower, Al-Salem Street, during standard business hours (Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Kuwait Standard Time).
- Compliance with Local Law: The Supplier shall ensure that the Software Engineer holds a valid work permit and residence visa issued by the Ministry of Interior, State of Kuwait, prior to commencing duties in Kuwait City. All immigration and labour law obligations in Kuwait shall be the sole responsibility of the Supplier.
- Confidentiality: The Software Engineer shall be bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) executed in accordance with Kuwaiti commercial law. All source code, architectural documentation, and proprietary data developed or accessed during the engagement in Kuwait City shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Buyer.
- Performance Standards: The Software Engineer shall meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the attached Service Level Agreement (SLA), which includes a minimum of 95% sprint commitment fulfilment and a maximum of 48-hour response time for critical production incidents.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Supplier shall facilitate the orderly transition of all work-in-progress deliverables to the Buyer's team in Kuwait City within the notice period.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the rules of the Kuwait Dispute Resolution Centre in Kuwait City, and the prevailing language shall be English.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kuwait, including the Kuwaiti Commercial Code and the Labour Law (Law No. 6 of 2010).
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Software Engineer at the premises in Kuwait, Kuwait City. This document constitutes a binding commercial agreement upon execution by both authorised representatives.
