Terms and Conditions

  1. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice from Educare Professional Staffing Inc. All payments shall be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the vendor's designated account in Canada Toronto.
  2. Qualification Requirements: The Special Education Teacher engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid teaching certificate issued by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) with a Special Education endorsement. The candidate must have completed a minimum of 120 credit hours in special education coursework and possess a minimum of five (5) years of documented experience in inclusive education settings within the Province of Ontario.
  3. Performance Standards: The Special Education Teacher shall adhere to the curriculum standards set forth by the Ontario Ministry of Education and the specific IEPs developed for each student. Quarterly performance reviews shall be conducted by the Principal of the North York Campus in Canada Toronto, with results reported to the Procurement Division.
  4. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Special Education Teacher shall be provided a transition period of no fewer than two (2) weeks to ensure continuity of student support. All outstanding IEP documentation must be transferred to the receiving educator.
  5. Confidentiality: All student records, IEPs, and personal information accessed by the Special Education Teacher are subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) of Ontario. Breach of confidentiality shall result in immediate termination and potential legal action under Canadian law.
  6. Compliance with Canadian and Ontario Regulations: All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall comply with the Education Act (Ontario), the Ontario Human Rights Code, and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The vendor warrants that the Special Education Teacher shall not be subject to any criminal record that would preclude employment in a school setting in Canada Toronto.
  7. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with the Ontario Arbitration Act. The jurisdiction for all legal proceedings shall be the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada Toronto.
  8. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to public health emergencies, natural disasters, or government-ordered school closures in Canada Toronto.
