- Scope of Engagement: This Purchase Order authorizes the procurement of a qualified Special Education Teacher to be deployed at the Colombia Bogotá main campus. The Special Education Teacher must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Especialización en Educación Especial) from a Colombian university accredited by the Ministry of Education, along with a valid professional registration (registro calificado).
- Commencement Date: The Special Education Teacher shall commence duties no later than March 3, 2025, coinciding with the start of the Colombian academic year. All onboarding, background checks, and labor registration with the Colombian Social Security System (Sistema de Seguridad Social) must be completed prior to this date.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in monthly installments via electronic bank transfer (transferencia electrónica) to the vendor's designated account in Colombia. Invoices must be submitted by the 5th business day of each month. Payment will be processed within fifteen (15) calendar days of invoice receipt. All amounts are denominated in Colombian Pesos (COP) and are subject to applicable withholding taxes under Colombian tax law (Estatuto Tributario).
- Labor Compliance: The vendor shall ensure full compliance with Colombian labor legislation, including the Código Sustantivo del Trabajo (CST), the Ley 1618 de 2013 (Ley de Inclusión Laboral), and all applicable decrees governing the employment of a Special Education Teacher in the Colombia Bogotá jurisdiction. The vendor is responsible for all employer contributions to pension (pensión), health (EPS), and ARL.
- Performance Standards: The Special Education Teacher shall adhere to the institutional pedagogical guidelines established by the Secretaría de Educación de Bogotá and the national curriculum framework (Lineamientos Curriculares). Quarterly performance evaluations will be conducted by the Director of Academic Affairs at the Colombia Bogotá campus.
- Confidentiality and Data Protection: All student records, IEPs, and personal data handled by the Special Education Teacher are subject to the Colombian Data Protection Law (Ley 1581 de 2012) and the institution's internal data governance policies. A non-disclosure agreement must be executed prior to commencement.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the vendor shall ensure a minimum of two (2) weeks of transition support to maintain continuity of services for students currently under the care of the Special Education Teacher at the Colombia Bogotá facility.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through the competent labor courts of Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
