This Purchase Order is issued by the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education to procure the professional services of a qualified Special Education Teacher for deployment within the Japan Tokyo metropolitan school district. - This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Seller for the provision of Special Education Teacher services within the Japan Tokyo school district for the academic year 2025–2026.
- The Seller guarantees that the Special Education Teacher assigned under this Purchase Order shall possess a minimum of five (5) years of documented experience in special education, a valid teaching license recognized in Japan, and proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) or English with a dedicated interpreter arrangement.
- Payment shall be made in monthly installments via bank transfer to the account designated by the Seller, due on the 25th of each month. The initial relocation and equipment payments (Items 02 and 04) shall be disbursed within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Special Education Teacher's confirmed arrival in Japan Tokyo.
- The Special Education Teacher shall be subject to the Japanese Labor Standards Act, the Act on Special Support for Persons with Disabilities, and all applicable Tokyo Metropolitan education regulations.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the Seller shall provide a replacement Special Education Teacher within thirty (30) days at no additional cost to the Buyer.
- All IEP records, student assessments, and confidential educational data generated by the Special Education Teacher in Japan Tokyo shall remain the sole property of the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education and shall be handled in strict compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
- The Seller shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of JPY 100,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Tokyo, Japan, in accordance with the rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association.
The Special Education Teacher shall report for duty at the designated inclusive education center located in Shinjuku-ku, Japan Tokyo, no later than September 1, 2025. The Seller is responsible for coordinating all pre-arrival logistics, including work visa sponsorship (Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services visa), residence registration in Tokyo, and orientation to the Japanese Tokyo school system. The Special Education Teacher's first term of service shall run from September 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026, aligning with the Japanese academic calendar.
7. Acceptance and AuthorizationBy signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept all terms, conditions, and obligations outlined in this Purchase Order for the procurement of Special Education Teacher services in Japan Tokyo. This document is valid only upon execution by authorized representatives of both the Buyer and the Seller.
