3. Scope of Procurement – Special Education Teacher Services
This Purchase Order is issued by Dubai Special Learning Academy, LLC, a registered educational institution in the United Arab Emirates Dubai emirate, for the procurement of professional services rendered by a qualified Special Education Teacher. The Special Education Teacher shall be responsible for the design, delivery, and assessment of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual disabilities, and sensory impairments. 5. Terms and Conditions
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 (UAE Labour Law) and all applicable regulations of the United Arab Emirates Dubai emirate, including KHDA operational guidelines for special education institutions.
- Commencement Date: The Special Education Teacher shall commence duties on 1 September 2025, or such other date as mutually agreed in writing, subject to the successful completion of all visa and work permit procedures in the United Arab Emirates Dubai.
- Contract Duration: This Purchase Order covers an initial employment period of twelve (12) months, renewable upon mutual written consent and subject to KHDA compliance review.
- Payment Terms: All monetary obligations under this Purchase Order shall be settled in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 2. Monthly salary payments shall be made on or before the last working day of each calendar month.
- Working Hours: The Special Education Teacher shall work forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, in accordance with the standard academic calendar of Dubai Special Learning Academy. Overtime, if required, shall be compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate as mandated by UAE Labour Law.
- Confidentiality: The Special Education Teacher shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all student records, IEPs, and institutional data in compliance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination by the employer without cause, the Special Education Teacher shall be entitled to end-of-service benefits as calculated under UAE Labour Law.
- Compliance: The Special Education Teacher warrants that all qualifications, certifications, and professional references provided are accurate and valid. The Special Education Teacher shall maintain all required KHDA registrations and professional development hours throughout the term of this Purchase Order in the United Arab Emirates Dubai.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall first be subject to mediation. Failing resolution, the matter shall be referred to the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, or the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts, at the election of the Purchasing Entity.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government-mandated closures, pandemics, or natural disasters affecting the United Arab Emirates Dubai region.
6. Authorization and Acceptance
This Purchase Order is hereby issued and authorized by the undersigned on behalf of Dubai Special Learning Academy, LLC, for the procurement of Special Education Teacher services in the United Arab Emirates Dubai. The Supplier acknowledges receipt of this Purchase Order and agrees to all terms, conditions, and financial obligations outlined herein.
