The Special Education Teacher shall commence duties no later than 1st September 2025 at the designated school site located in the United Kingdom Manchester postcodes M14 and M20. The supplier is required to confirm the identity and qualifications of the Special Education Teacher in writing no fewer than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the commencement date. All placement arrangements must comply with the local authority guidelines issued by Manchester City Council for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in accordance with the following schedule: an initial deposit of 25% (£14,880.00) is due within thirty (30) days of the date of this Purchase Order. The remaining balance of 75% (£44,640.00) shall be paid in equal monthly instalments of £3,720.00 over the twelve-month contract period, commencing from the first month of the Special Education Teacher's active placement. All payments shall be made via BACS transfer to the supplier's nominated bank account. - This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom Manchester region.
- The Special Education Teacher must hold a valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a recognised Special Educational Needs endorsement, as verified by the Department for Education (DfE) register.
- The supplier warrants that the Special Education Teacher shall have no outstanding disciplinary proceedings, no unspent criminal convictions, and shall pass an Enhanced Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencement.
- The Special Education Teacher shall adhere to all safeguarding policies, child protection procedures, and data protection obligations under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the trust shall be liable only for services rendered up to the date of termination.

- All intellectual property, lesson plans, and assessment materials developed by the Special Education Teacher during the course of this engagement shall remain the property of Manchester Metropolitan Education Trust.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute an employment contract between the trust and the Special Education Teacher. The employment relationship, if any, shall be governed by a separate contract of employment issued by the supplier.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to industrial action, public health emergencies, or government-mandated school closures in the United Kingdom Manchester area, shall suspend obligations under this Purchase Order without penalty to either party.
