- This Purchase Order is issued by the Los Angeles Unified School District for the procurement of Special Education Teacher services within the United States, specifically the Los Angeles metropolitan area. All services shall be rendered in compliance with California Education Code, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and applicable federal and state regulations.
- The Special Education Teacher placed under this Purchase Order must hold a valid California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential with a Special Education (Mild/Moderate or Severe) endorsement issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). Proof of credential shall be submitted prior to the first day of instruction.

- This Purchase Order does not create an employment relationship between the Los Angeles Unified School District and the vendor or the Special Education Teacher. The Special Education Teacher remains an employee or contractor of the vendor for all purposes, including tax withholding and benefits.
- Early termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the District shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date, and the vendor shall provide a full transition plan for the Special Education Teacher's caseload and student IEPs.
