This Purchase Order is issued by the Kinshasa Children's Development Foundation to formally engage the services of a qualified Speech Therapist to deliver specialized speech-language pathology interventions to children and adults with communication disorders within the DR Congo Kinshasa metropolitan area. The Speech Therapist shall provide in-clinic and home-visit therapy sessions, diagnostic assessments, and family training programs as outlined below.

The Speech Therapist engagement under this Purchase Order shall commence on 1 July 2025 and conclude on 31 December 2025, covering a six-month service period. All sessions shall be conducted at the KCDF facility located in Gombe, Kinshasa, DR Congo, or at the patient's residence within the Kinshasa city limits as pre-arranged. The Speech Therapist is expected to be available Monday through Saturday, 08:00 to 17:00, with a minimum of 20 clinical hours per week dedicated to direct patient care.
5. Payment Terms- Payment shall be made in United States Dollars (USD) via bank transfer to the Speech Therapist's designated account at Rawbank, Kinshasa, DR Congo.
- Payment schedule: 30% advance upon acceptance of this Purchase Order; 40% at the midpoint of the service period (end of September 2025); 30% upon completion of all services and submission of final reports.
- Invoices must be submitted within 10 business days of the end of each month. Payment will be processed within 30 days of invoice receipt.
- All applicable taxes and levies under the tax code of the Democratic Republic of the Congo shall be the responsibility of the Speech Therapist unless otherwise stipulated by law.
- Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
- The Speech Therapist must hold a valid professional license issued by the Ministry of Health of the DR Congo and maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 100,000 throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
- All clinical records, patient data, and assessment documents generated during the Speech Therapist engagement shall remain the property of KCDF and must comply with the data protection regulations of the DR Congo.
- The Speech Therapist shall adhere to the ethical standards of the International Speech-Language Association and the local professional body in Kinshasa.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice. In the event of early termination, payment shall be made pro-rata for services rendered up to the termination date.
- The Speech Therapist shall not subcontract any portion of the services described in this Purchase Order without prior written consent from KCDF.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Kinshasa, DR Congo, and if unresolved, through the competent courts of the Republic of Kinshasa.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the commercial laws of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
- The Speech Therapist shall provide a written acceptance of this Purchase Order within 5 business days of receipt. Failure to do so shall render this document null and void.
