Terms and Conditions
- This Purchase Order is issued by Lagos Children's Development Centre, Nigeria Lagos, and constitutes a formal request for the engagement of a licensed Speech Therapist and associated services as itemized above.
- The Speech Therapist engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid registration with the Speech and Language Therapy Association of Nigeria (SLTAN) and a minimum of five (5) years of post-qualification clinical experience in paediatric speech and language disorders.
- All services shall be rendered at the Lagos Children's Development Centre premises located in Nigeria Lagos, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties. The Speech Therapist shall adhere to the centre's code of conduct, child safeguarding policies, and data protection protocols in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the supplier. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by Lagos Speech & Language Therapy Associates Ltd. All payments are subject to applicable Nigerian withholding tax deductions as prescribed by the Federal Inland Revenue Service.
- The Speech Therapist shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of NGN 10,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order and shall provide a certificate of insurance upon commencement of services in Nigeria Lagos.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Speech Therapist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination, and all therapy materials and records shall be returned to the centre.
- All patient records, assessment data, and progress reports generated by the Speech Therapist under this Purchase Order shall remain the property of Lagos Children's Development Centre, Nigeria Lagos, and shall be stored in accordance with the centre's records retention policy.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Nigeria Lagos before proceeding to the competent courts of law.
- The Speech Therapist shall not subcontract any portion of the services outlined in this Purchase Order without prior written consent from the centre's procurement department in Nigeria Lagos.
