Pursuant to this Purchase Order, the contracted Statistician shall perform the following duties and deliverables within the operational scope of the Purchasing Authority in Brazil Brasília:

4.1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Purchasing Authority and the Statistician service provider upon signature by both parties. All services shall be rendered in compliance with the professional ethics code of the Brazilian Statistical Society (Sociedade Brasileira de Estatística) and applicable federal regulations governing statistical practice in Brazil Brasília.

4.2. The Statistician shall maintain full confidentiality of all data, datasets, and proprietary information accessed during the execution of this Purchase Order. Any breach of data confidentiality shall result in immediate termination of this Purchase Order and potential legal action under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Lei nº 13.709/2018).

4.3. All deliverables produced by the Statistician under this Purchase Order shall be submitted in both digital (PDF and native software formats) and printed form to the designated office in Brazil Brasília within the timelines specified in Section 3. Late delivery beyond fifteen (15) business days without written justification may result in a penalty of 0.5% of the applicable line-item value per day of delay.

4.4. The Purchase Order may be amended only by written addendum signed by both parties. No verbal modifications to the scope, duration, or compensation of the Statistician engagement shall be recognized.

4.5. The Statistician is responsible for all professional liability insurance, tax obligations (including IRPF, INSS contributions, and applicable ISS – Imposto Sobre Serviços levied by the municipality of Brazil Brasília), and compliance with labor regulations in the Federal District.

Payment under this Purchase Order shall be made in monthly installments, due on the 5th business day of the following month, via bank transfer (TED/DOC) to the account designated by the Statistician. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-BR-BSB-2025-04782) and include the applicable Nota Fiscal de Serviço issued in Brazil Brasília. This Purchase Order shall take effect on the date of the last signature below.
