1. Scope of Engagement: This Purchase Order authorizes the procurement of professional Statistician services as described above. The Statistician shall report directly to the Head of Research at Accra Data & Analytics Solutions Ltd. and shall perform all duties in accordance with the professional standards set by the Statistical Society of Ghana and the International Association for Statistical Computing.
2. Commencement and Location: The Statistician shall commence duties on or before 1 July 2025 at the company's primary office located in Ghana Accra, Ridge District. All work shall be conducted on-site unless prior written approval for remote work is granted by the Buyer.
3. Payment and Invoicing: The Vendor shall submit a detailed invoice by the 28th of each preceding month. Payment shall be made within five (5) business days of invoice receipt via bank transfer to the account specified above. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 2% per month in accordance with Ghanaian commercial law.
4. Performance Standards: The Statistician is expected to deliver a minimum of four (4) comprehensive analytical reports per quarter, maintain a 95% accuracy rate in all statistical computations, and participate in at least one (1) client presentation per month. Failure to meet these benchmarks for two consecutive months shall constitute grounds for review of this Purchase Order.
5. Confidentiality and Data Protection: The Statistician shall comply with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and all internal data security protocols. All client data processed in Ghana Accra shall be stored on encrypted servers and shall not be transferred outside the Republic of Ghana without explicit written consent from the data subject and the Buyer.
6. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Vendor shall ensure a smooth transition of all ongoing statistical projects and deliver all work-in-progress documentation to the Buyer within fourteen (14) days.
7. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Ghana Accra in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2099 (Act 299).
8. Validity: This Purchase Order is valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of issue and may be renewed upon mutual written agreement of both parties. The Vendor acknowledges receipt and acceptance of all terms stated in this Purchase Order by signing below.
