Ltd. to procure the professional services of a qualified Statistician to be deployed at the company’s operational headquarters located in India Bangalore. The engagement of this Statistician is intended to support the Data Science and Quantitative Research division in conducting advanced statistical modelling, hypothesis testing, Bayesian inference, and predictive analytics for a series of client projects spanning the pharmaceutical, telecommunications, and financial services sectors.
The Statistician shall be responsible for designing experimental frameworks, performing multivariate analysis, developing and validating statistical models, preparing comprehensive analytical reports, and mentoring junior data analysts within the India Bangalore office. The role demands a minimum of eight (8) years of post-qualification experience in applied statistics, with demonstrated proficiency in R, Python (SciPy, statsmodels), SAS, and Minitab. The Statistician must hold a Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related quantitative discipline from a recognized Indian or international university.

Payment shall be made in three equal instalments: 40% upon acceptance of this Purchase Order, 35% upon completion of Deliverables 2 and 3, and 25% upon final handover. All payments shall be processed via NEFT/RTGS to the supplier’s designated bank account in India Bangalore. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO/2025/BLR/STAT/0047) for reconciliation purposes.
5.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Supplier for the engagement of the Statistician as described herein. All services shall be rendered at the Buyer’s premises in India Bangalore unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.2 The Statistician shall adhere to all data privacy and confidentiality policies of Meridian Analytics Solutions Pvt. Ltd., in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable in India Bangalore and across India.
5.3 The Supplier warrants that the Statistician engaged under this Purchase Order possesses all necessary qualifications, certifications, and professional competencies. Any misrepresentation of credentials shall render this Purchase Order voidable at the sole discretion of the Buyer.
5.4 The Buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice of fourteen (14) calendar days in the event of material breach, unsatisfactory performance, or force majeure circumstances. Upon termination, the Supplier shall be compensated only for services rendered up to the date of termination.
5.5 All intellectual property, statistical models, code, reports, and documentation produced by the Statistician during the course of this engagement shall be the exclusive property of Meridian Analytics Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The Statistician shall sign a non-disclosure and IP assignment agreement prior to commencing work in India Bangalore.
5.6 Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration fixed at India Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The language of arbitration shall be English.
5.7 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of India. The jurisdiction of the competent courts in India Bangalore, Karnataka shall be exclusively applicable for any legal proceedings.
