The purpose of this Purchase Order is to procure specialized statistical consulting, data modeling, and analytical services that will support the buyer's ongoing market research initiatives, clinical trial data analysis, and predictive modeling projects conducted within the India Mumbai metropolitan region and its surrounding industrial corridors.

The Statistician engaged under this Purchase Order shall possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative discipline, along with a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in statistical analysis, biostatistics, econometrics, or data science. The Statistician must be physically based in or regularly available in India Mumbai to attend in-person meetings, site visits, and collaborative workshops as required by the project timeline.

1. Governing Jurisdiction: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India Mumbai, Maharashtra.
2. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid GST-compliant tax invoice from the supplier. The buyer shall process payments via NEFT/RTGS to the bank account designated by Mumbai Quantitative Solutions LLP. All amounts are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of any applicable local taxes unless stated otherwise.
3. Deliverables and Acceptance: All deliverables produced by the Statistician under this Purchase Order shall be submitted in both digital (PDF, R/Python scripts, and raw data files) and, where requested, printed format. The buyer shall have a period of ten (10) business days to review and accept or request revisions to each deliverable. Failure to respond within this period shall constitute deemed acceptance.
4. Confidentiality and Data Protection: The Statistician shall treat all data, proprietary information, and trade secrets of the buyer as strictly confidential. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years. The Statistician shall comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable in India Mumbai and across India.
5. Intellectual Property: All statistical models, code, reports, and analytical outputs created specifically for the buyer under this Purchase Order shall be the sole intellectual property of Deccan Analytics & Research Pvt. Ltd. The Statistician retains the right to use general methodologies and pre-existing frameworks, provided no confidential buyer data is disclosed.
6. Performance and Quality Standards: The Statistician shall adhere to internationally recognized statistical standards, including but not limited to the American Statistical Association (ASA) guidelines and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) statistical reporting norms. All analyses shall be reproducible, and the Statistician shall provide complete documentation of methods, assumptions, and software versions used.
7. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of termination, the buyer shall pay for all services rendered and deliverables accepted up to the effective date of termination. The Statistician shall return or securely destroy all buyer data within fifteen (15) days of termination.
8. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated lockdowns in India Mumbai, or acts of war, provided that the affected party notifies the other within five (5) business days.
9. Compliance with Local Regulations: The Statistician shall ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) where relevant to the scope of work.
10. Amendments: Any modification to this Purchase Order shall be valid only if made in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties. Verbal agreements or informal communications shall not constitute an amendment to this Purchase Order.

Primary work shall be performed at the buyer's office located at 12th Floor, Trade Centre, Nariman Point, India Mumbai, Maharashtra 400021. The Statistician is expected to be present on-site a minimum of three (3) days per week during the engagement period, with the remaining days available for remote work from the supplier's office in Bandra Kurla Complex, India Mumbai. All on-site work shall be conducted during standard business hours of 09:30 IST to 18:30 IST, Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays as declared by the Government of Maharashtra.
