- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, United Kingdom.
- The Statistician shall comply with all applicable data protection regulations, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, throughout the duration of this engagement.
- All deliverables must be submitted to the Procurement Department at Meridian Analytics Group Limited, 142 Fleet Street, London EC4A 2BL, no later than the dates specified in the project schedule annexed hereto.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid VAT invoice, by BACS transfer to the bank account nominated by the Statistician. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-UK-LDN-2025-04871).
- The Statistician warrants that all statistical analyses, models, and reports produced under this Purchase Order shall be original, free from intellectual property infringement, and conducted in accordance with the professional standards set by the Royal Statistical Society (RSS), London.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the Statistician shall be compensated for all work satisfactorily completed up to the date of termination.
- The Statistician shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than £5,000,000 for the full duration of this engagement and shall provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
- All work performed under this Purchase Order shall be conducted with due regard to the professional code of conduct applicable to statisticians practising in the United Kingdom, and the Statistician shall declare any conflicts of interest in writing prior to commencement.
- Confidentiality: The Statistician shall treat all data, proprietary information, and business strategies of Meridian Analytics Group Limited as strictly confidential and shall not disclose them to any third party without prior written consent.
- This Purchase Order does not create a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the parties. The Statistician is engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the buyer.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and scope of work outlined in this Purchase Order for the provision of Statistician services in United Kingdom London. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon execution by both parties.
