This Purchase Order is issued for the engagement of a qualified Systems Engineer to provide comprehensive technical design, integration, and operational support services for the Queensland Infrastructure Solutions network modernisation programme. The Systems Engineer shall be based at the primary project office located in Australia Brisbane and shall report directly to the Chief Technology Officer of Queensland Infrastructure Solutions Pty Ltd.

The scope of work for the Systems Engineer encompasses the following deliverables and responsibilities:

All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed at the following primary location in Australia Brisbane:

Primary Site: Queensland Infrastructure Solutions Head Office, 88 Creek Street, Brisbane, Queensland 4000, Australia Brisbane.
Secondary Site: Brisbane Data Centre, 220 Creek Street, Brisbane, Queensland 4000, Australia Brisbane.

The Systems Engineer is required to be physically present at the Australia Brisbane site for a minimum of four (4) days per week during the implementation phase. Remote work from approved locations within the Greater Brisbane metropolitan area is permissible for documentation and design tasks, subject to prior written approval from the project manager.

All invoices shall be submitted to the accounts payable department of Queensland Infrastructure Solutions Pty Ltd, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Brisbane. Payment shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice.

5.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) procedures.

5.2 The Systems Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in enterprise systems architecture and must possess relevant certifications including but not limited to AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Cisco CCIE, or equivalent industry-recognised qualifications.

5.3 The contractor shall comply with all applicable Australian workplace health and safety legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld), and shall maintain a valid White Card for all personnel accessing the Australia Brisbane construction and data centre sites.

5.4 All intellectual property developed specifically for Queensland Infrastructure Solutions under this Purchase Order shall vest in the company upon full payment. The Systems Engineer shall execute any necessary assignment documents as reasonably requested.

5.5 The contractor shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of AUD $10,000,000 and public liability insurance of AUD $20,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order.

5.6 Early termination may be effected by either party upon thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the contractor shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination, less any costs saved by the company.

5.7 The Systems Engineer shall adhere to the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and all Queensland Government data handling policies when accessing or processing any information within the Australia Brisbane facilities.

This Purchase Order constitutes a binding procurement instrument upon signature by both parties. By signing below, the supplier acknowledges receipt of this Purchase Order and agrees to deliver the Systems Engineer services as specified herein at the designated Australia Brisbane locations.
