The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for the following scope of work within the Switzerland Zurich operational zone:

• Design, implementation, and optimization of distributed computing systems and server infrastructure across all Zurich-based facilities.
• Configuration and management of enterprise network architectures, including redundant fiber-optic connections linking the Zurich headquarters to regional offices in Geneva and Basel.
• Deployment and administration of virtualized environments, container orchestration platforms, and cloud-hybrid integration solutions compliant with Swiss data protection regulations (DSG/FADP).
• Performance monitoring, capacity planning, and proactive maintenance of all hardware and software systems to ensure 99.95% uptime availability.
• Security hardening, vulnerability assessment, and incident response coordination in alignment with ISO 27001 and Swiss Federal Office of Cybersecurity (NDS) guidelines.
• Documentation of all system configurations, standard operating procedures, and technical handover reports for the Switzerland Zurich operations team.

• Invoices are payable within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of a valid invoice, in accordance with Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) Article 119.

The Systems Engineer assigned to fulfill the obligations under this Purchase Order must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in enterprise systems engineering, with at least three (3) years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Certifications in at least two of the following: Cisco CCIE, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, VMware VCP, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), Windows Server, and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Working knowledge of Swiss data protection law (DSG) and the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) as applicable to systems engineering in Switzerland Zurich.

• A valid Swiss work permit or B/C residence permit for the duration of the engagement.

• This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Swiss Confederation, specifically the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB).
• Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Purchase Order shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland Zurich, or alternatively by arbitration under the rules of the Swiss Arbitration Centre (SAC) in Zurich.
• The Service Provider warrants that the Systems Engineer shall perform all duties with the diligence of a professional engineer and in full compliance with all applicable Swiss federal and cantonal regulations.
• Confidentiality obligations shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years, in accordance with Swiss trade secret protection laws.
• This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement of both parties, executed in accordance with Swiss contract law requirements.
