This Purchase Order is issued by the Kabul Corporate Apparel Division to commission the services of a professional Tailor operating in Afghanistan Kabul for the design, cutting, stitching, and finishing of a complete set of formal and semi-formal garments for corporate staff. The Tailor engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for all aspects of garment production, including pattern drafting, fabric selection consultation, precise measurements, hand-finishing, and quality inspection. The Tailor workshop located in the Darulaman district of Kabul, Afghanistan, shall serve as the primary production site for all items specified in this Purchase Order. All work shall be conducted in accordance with the traditional Afghan tailoring standards while meeting the modern corporate dress code requirements of the purchasing entity.

The Tailor shall complete all garment production within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. Initial measurements and fabric selection shall be conducted at the Tailor's workshop in Darulaman, Kabul, Afghanistan, within the first five business days. A mid-production fitting session shall be scheduled at the twenty-second day. Final delivery of all completed garments shall be made to the Buyer's office at Wazir Akbar Khan, Kabul, Afghanistan, no later than the forty-fifth day. The Tailor shall provide written notification to the Buyer at least three business days prior to the scheduled delivery date.
5. PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS- A 30% advance payment (AFN 243,457.50) shall be remitted to the Tailor upon signing and acceptance of this Purchase Order to cover fabric procurement and initial workshop setup.
- A 40% progress payment (AFN 324,610.00) shall be due upon completion of the mid-production fitting and written approval by the Buyer's representative.
- The remaining 30% balance (AFN 243,457.50) shall be paid within thirty (30) days of final delivery and acceptance of all garments at the Kabul office.
- All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the Tailor's registered account at Kabul Bank, Darulaman Branch, Afghanistan Kabul.
- Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
The Tailor guarantees that all garments produced under this Purchase Order shall meet the following quality standards: precise stitching with no visible thread ends, symmetrical seams, properly set buttons with reinforced attachment, clean interior finishing, and accurate sizing within a tolerance of one centimeter. The Buyer reserves the right to inspect garments at any stage of production at the Tailor's workshop in Kabul, Afghanistan. Any garment failing to meet the agreed specifications shall be reworked at no additional cost to the Buyer within five business days of the defect notification.
7. CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATIONEither party may cancel this Purchase Order with a written notice of fourteen (14) days. In the event of cancellation by the Buyer after fabric has been purchased, the Buyer shall be liable for the cost of materials already procured by the Tailor. Modifications to garment specifications after the initial measurement session shall be subject to a 10% surcharge on the affected line items. All modifications must be approved in writing by both parties before the Tailor proceeds with altered work.
8. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTIONThis Purchase Order shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the commercial laws of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order between the Buyer and the Tailor shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Should negotiation fail, the matter shall be referred to the Kabul Commercial Arbitration Board in Kabul, Afghanistan, for binding arbitration. The language of this Purchase Order and all related communications shall be English, with a secondary reference copy in Dari for the convenience of the Tailor and local regulatory authorities in Afghanistan Kabul.
9. ADDITIONAL NOTESThe Tailor acknowledges that this Purchase Order represents a significant commission and commits to dedicating a minimum of two skilled assistants to the project throughout the production period. The Tailor shall maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with local labor regulations in Kabul, Afghanistan. All fabric offcuts and waste materials shall be disposed of responsibly. The Tailor shall provide the Buyer with a detailed production log documenting each stage of garment creation for quality assurance and record-keeping purposes.
