Terms and Conditions
- Acceptance: This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement upon written acceptance by the vendor, Taller de Sastre Don Alejandro, within five (5) business days of the issue date. Acceptance must be confirmed in writing via email to [email protected].
- Quality Standards: All bespoke garments and tailoring services must meet the quality standards established by the Chilean Association of Textile Industries (AChite) and the buyer's internal corporate dress code specifications. The master tailor is responsible for final quality inspection before delivery.
- Delivery Schedule: The vendor shall deliver all completed garments and services within the delivery window specified above (01 July – 15 July 2025) to the designated warehouse in Ñuñoa, Santiago. Late delivery beyond 15 July 2025 shall incur a penalty of 2% of the affected line item value per business day of delay.
- Payment Schedule: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Purchase Order; 40% upon completion of the first fitting session for bespoke items; 20% upon final delivery and acceptance. All payments shall be made in Chilean Pesos (CLP) via bank transfer to the account specified above.
- Warranty: The vendor provides a six-month warranty on all bespoke tailoring work, covering defects in stitching, construction, and fit adjustments attributable to the tailor's workmanship. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.
- Confidentiality: All client measurements, body data, and design specifications collected during the tailoring process are confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties. The vendor shall comply with Chilean Law 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life (Ley de Protección de la Vida Privada).
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters (e.g., seismic events common to the Santiago region), government-mandated closures, or supply chain disruptions affecting fabric imports.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Santiago, Chile, or through arbitration at the Chilean Chamber of Commerce (Cámara de Comercio de Santiago).
- Modifications: Any changes to the scope, quantities, or specifications of tailoring services under this Purchase Order must be agreed upon in writing by both parties and documented as a formal amendment to this PO.
