5.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Tailor upon signature by both parties. All work described herein shall be executed in accordance with the standards of professional Tailor craftsmanship as recognized by the Illinois State Board of Cosmetology and Tailoring, and all applicable regulations of the United States Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection.
5.2 The Tailor shall provide a detailed progress report to the Buyer's purchasing agent every ten (10) business days from the date of this Purchase Order until all line items are completed and delivered. Reports shall be submitted electronically to the email address listed in Section 1.
5.3 All bespoke garments must be completed and ready for final fitting no later than July 10, 2025. Final delivery of all items to the Buyer's office at 233 South Wacker Drive, United States Chicago, shall occur no later than July 15, 2025. The Tailor shall bear all costs associated with local delivery within the City of Chicago.
5.4 Payment shall be made via wire transfer to the account designated by the Tailor within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month. The Buyer reserves the right to withhold payment for any line item that does not meet the agreed-upon specifications after a final fitting session.
5.5 The Tailor warrants that all work performed under this Purchase Order shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final delivery. Any garment requiring rework due to Tailor error shall be repaired or replaced at no additional cost to the Buyer.
5.6 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States Chicago. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Cook County, United States Chicago, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
5.7 The Tailor shall maintain adequate commercial general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000 per occurrence for the duration of this Purchase Order and shall provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
All completed garments and items shall be delivered to the Buyer's designated receiving office in United States Chicago. Upon delivery, the Buyer's receiving agent shall inspect each item against the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order. Acceptance shall be deemed complete upon written confirmation by the Buyer's Senior Procurement Manager. The Tailor shall include a garment care card and a certificate of Tailor craftsmanship with each bespoke item, noting the fabric composition, construction method, and recommended care instructions.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for Tailor services rendered in United States Chicago.
