- This Purchase Order is issued in accordance with the procurement policies of Te Kura o Te Whanganui-a-Tara Primary School and the Wellington City Council education funding guidelines. All transactions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
- The Teacher Primary engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid New Zealand Teaching Council registration and a minimum of a Bachelor of Education (Primary) qualification. The Teacher Primary shall demonstrate proficiency in Te Reo Māori and an understanding of the bicultural context of Wellington's educational landscape.
- Delivery and commencement of services shall take place no later than 14 April 2025, at the school premises located in Wellington, New Zealand. The Teacher Primary is expected to be on-site and fully operational by the first day of Term 2.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the supplier. Payment will be processed via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's nominated New Zealand bank account.
- The supplier warrants that the Teacher Primary shall comply with all obligations under the Education Act 1989, the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, and all applicable Wellington Regional Council bylaws pertaining to the operation of primary schools.
- Any variation to this Purchase Order, including changes to the scope of the Teacher Primary's duties, the duration of engagement, or the resource allocation, must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to implementation.
- The supplier shall maintain adequate professional indemnity and public liability insurance for the duration of the Teacher Primary's engagement, with minimum coverage of NZD 10,000,000, as required for educational institutions in New Zealand.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute a permanent employment contract. The Teacher Primary's engagement is limited to the period specified herein, and any extension shall require a separate Purchase Order or formal amendment.
- All intellectual property created by the Teacher Primary during the course of this engagement, including lesson plans, assessment materials, and curriculum resources developed for the Wellington classroom, shall remain the property of the school.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Wellington, New Zealand, in accordance with the Disputes Standards Act 2017, before any escalation to the District Court of Wellington.
