TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PURCHASE ORDER
- Delivery Location: All items under this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Sri Lanka Colombo District Education Office warehouse located at 112, Galle Road, Colombo 03, and subsequently distributed to individual primary schools as directed by the Teacher Primary allocation committee.
- Delivery Timeline: The supplier shall complete full delivery within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. Partial deliveries are permitted provided that all Teacher Primary critical items (Items 01, 02, 05, and 06) are delivered within the first thirty (30) days to ensure readiness for the new academic term in Sri Lanka Colombo.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signing of this Purchase Order, 50% upon delivery and inspection of all items, and 20% upon successful completion of the Teacher Primary training programme (Item 07). All payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the supplier's registered account in Sri Lanka.
- Quality Assurance: All Teacher Primary resources must comply with the Sri Lanka national education standards and the Colombo District quality specifications. The supplier warrants that all goods are new, free from defects, and fit for purpose in a primary school environment.
- Warranty: The supplier shall provide a minimum two-year warranty on all electronic equipment (Items 01, 05, and 06) and a one-year warranty on all furniture and physical materials. Warranty service must be available within the Sri Lanka Colombo metropolitan area within forty-eight (48) hours of a reported fault.
- Compliance: This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Colombo District Court of Sri Lanka. The supplier acknowledges that all Teacher Primary materials must align with the national curriculum framework approved by the Ministry of Education.
- Cancellation: Either party may cancel this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of cancellation by the buyer, the supplier shall be compensated for materials already procured and non-recoverable costs, subject to verification by the Sri Lanka Colombo procurement audit office.
- Confidentiality: All information exchanged under this Purchase Order, including Teacher Primary staff data, school locations, and procurement pricing, shall be treated as confidential by the supplier and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent from the Sri Lanka Colombo Primary Education Authority.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government policy changes in Sri Lanka, or port closures affecting Colombo.
