1. Scope of Purchase Order: This Purchase Order (PO-MTL-2025-TS-0472) is issued by the Commission scolaire de la Montréais for the procurement of Teacher Secondary personnel and associated educational resources. All Teacher Secondary positions referenced herein are subject to the Québec Education Act (Loi sur l’instruction publique) and the collective agreements of the ACUQ (Association des collègiens et universitaires du Québec).
2. Qualification Requirements: All Teacher Secondary candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate issued by the Québec government, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in their respective discipline, and demonstrate proficiency in French as the primary language of instruction, in accordance with Bill 96 (Loi modernisant des dispositions législatives en matière de langue) applicable in Montréal, Canada.
3. Delivery and Commencement: All Teacher Secondary personnel must report to their assigned secondary schools within the Montréal, Canada district no later than August 25, 2025, for the 2025–2026 academic year. Teaching materials and technology kits must be delivered and installed by August 20, 2025.
4. Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in quarterly installments aligned with the Québec academic calendar. The first installment (25%) is due upon confirmation of all Teacher Secondary personnel reporting for duty. Subsequent installments are due on November 30, 2025, February 28, 2026, and June 30, 2026. 5. Compliance and Jurisdiction: This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Québec Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal administratif du Québec) or, where applicable, the Québec Superior Court in Montréal, Canada.
6. Cancellation and Termination: Either party may cancel this Purchase Order with 60 days’ written notice. In the event of cancellation, the supplier shall be compensated for Teacher Secondary personnel already contracted and materials already procured, up to the value of services rendered as of the cancellation date.
7. Confidentiality: All personnel data related to Teacher Secondary staff, including compensation details and performance evaluations, shall be treated as confidential in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and applicable public-sector privacy legislation in Montréal, Canada.
8. Language of Instruction: In accordance with the Québec Charter of the French Language, the primary language of instruction for all Teacher Secondary positions under this Purchase Order shall be French, with English-language programming as specifically designated in Line Item 3.
