The Telecommunication Engineer shall hold a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in telecommunications infrastructure, possess a recognized engineering degree (ETH or equivalent), and maintain valid Swiss professional certifications including the Swisscom Network Certification Level 3 and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) compliance credential. The Telecommunication Engineer team engaged under this Purchase Order shall deliver the following in the Switzerland Zurich region:
- Complete design documentation for a 240-kilometer single-mode fiber-optic ring network spanning the Zurich metropolitan area, including route surveys, trenching plans, and splice-point specifications.
- Physical installation and splicing of fiber-optic cables at all fourteen (14) designated data center locations within the canton of Zurich.
- End-to-end optical power testing, OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) analysis, and attenuation verification for every installed segment.
- Configuration and commissioning of active telecommunication equipment including DWDM multiplexers, optical amplifiers, and network management systems.
- Preparation and submission of all required permits, environmental impact assessments, and COMCOM regulatory filings specific to telecommunications infrastructure in Switzerland Zurich.
- Delivery of a comprehensive as-built documentation package, including GIS-mapped cable routes, splice records, test certificates, and a 10-year maintenance recommendation report.

- This Purchase Order is governed by the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and applicable Swiss federal and cantonal telecommunications regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
- The Telecommunication Engineer personnel assigned to this contract must maintain full professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of CHF 5,000,000 per occurrence, valid throughout the duration of the engagement in Switzerland Zurich.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the vendor's designated Swiss bank account within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice referencing this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-ZRH-04871).
- Any change in scope, schedule, or deliverables must be documented in a formal Change Order signed by both parties before implementation. Unauthorized deviations from the agreed scope in Switzerland Zurich will not be compensated.
- The vendor warrants that all work performed by the Telecommunication Engineer team shall comply with Swiss standard SN 418000 (Telecommunications Cabling) and all applicable ETSI and ITU-T recommendations.
- Confidentiality: All network topology data, customer information, and proprietary designs related to this project in Switzerland Zurich shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent from Alpine Networks AG.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated shutdowns, or telecommunications regulatory changes enacted by Swiss authorities.
- This Purchase Order becomes effective upon written acceptance by the vendor and remains valid until the completion of all deliverables or until 31 March 2026, whichever occurs first.
