This Purchase Order is issued to formally authorize the procurement of professional Translator Interpreter services to be deployed and executed in Senegal Dakar. The engagement is required to support a multilateral infrastructure development project funded by the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU), which will involve extensive coordination meetings, technical document translation, and on-site interpretation across multiple languages including French, Wolof, English, and Pulaar.

The Translator Interpreter engaged under this Purchase Order shall be physically present in Senegal Dakar for the duration of the project, which spans from July 1, 2025, through December 15, 2025. All on-site interpretation services must be conducted at the buyer's designated offices located in the Plateau district of Dakar or at project sites within the greater Dakar metropolitan area, including the areas of Pikine, Guédiawaye, and Ngor.

Deliverables include but are not limited to: real-time interpretation during all scheduled meetings, certified translations of all project documentation, written summaries of key discussions, and a final comprehensive linguistic report upon project completion. The Translator Interpreter must adhere to strict confidentiality protocols as outlined in the attached Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), given the sensitive nature of the infrastructure project data.

This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Purchasing Party and the Supplier upon written acceptance by both parties. All terms herein govern the provision of Translator Interpreter services in Senegal Dakar.
The Supplier shall assign a qualified Translator Interpreter who meets all stated qualifications. Substitution of personnel requires prior written approval from the Purchasing Party.
All services must be performed in accordance with the professional standards set by the International Federation of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) and local Senegalese labor regulations applicable in Dakar.
Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account in Dakar, Senegal, within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice referencing this Purchase Order number (SD-2025-04782).
The Supplier is responsible for all applicable taxes, social security contributions, and professional liability insurance for the Translator Interpreter as required by Senegalese law.
Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the Supplier shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date.
All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Dakar, Senegal, in accordance with the rules of the Senegalese Chamber of Commerce.
The Translator Interpreter must comply with all local customs, cultural protocols, and professional etiquette observed in Senegal Dakar during all engagements.
Intellectual property rights in all translated documents and interpretation transcripts shall vest in the Purchasing Party upon full payment.
This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Senegal. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties.
