This Purchase Order is issued by Meridian Global Consulting S.L. to formally request and authorize the procurement of professional Translator Interpreter services to be rendered in Spain Barcelona. The services described herein are required to support the company's upcoming international trade conference, bilateral investment negotiations, and multilingual client consultations scheduled to take place at the Fira Gran Via venue in Spain Barcelona between 10 August 2025 and 22 August 2025.
The Translator Interpreter engaged under this Purchase Order shall provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, as well as written translation of all official documents, presentations, and correspondence in the languages of English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese. The Translator Interpreter must hold a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in conference interpretation and must be a certified member of the Asociación de Intérpretes y Traductores de España (AITE). All services will be physically delivered on-site in Spain Barcelona, with the Translator Interpreter required to be present at the designated venue no later than 08:00 hours on each working day of the engagement period.

- Acceptance: This Purchase Order shall become a binding contract upon written acceptance by the Supplier. The Supplier must confirm acceptance of this Purchase Order within five (5) business days of the date of issue. Failure to respond within this period shall be construed as rejection of the Purchase Order.
- Service Delivery: All Translator Interpreter services shall be performed exclusively in Spain Barcelona at the venue specified by the Buyer. The Translator Interpreter is responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation within the city of Barcelona, Spain. The Buyer shall provide on-site working facilities, including a dedicated interpretation booth, audio equipment, and refreshments during working hours.
- Quality Assurance: The Translator Interpreter guarantees that all interpretation and translation work shall meet the highest professional standards. The Buyer reserves the right to request a replacement Translator Interpreter of equivalent or superior qualification should performance fall below the agreed standards, with no additional cost to the Buyer.
- Confidentiality: The Translator Interpreter shall treat all documents, discussions, and information encountered during the engagement in Spain Barcelona as strictly confidential. A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) shall be executed prior to the commencement of services. Breach of confidentiality shall result in immediate termination of this Purchase Order and potential legal action.
- Payment Terms: Payment of the total amount stated in this Purchase Order shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice from the Supplier. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the Supplier. The Buyer shall not be liable for any late payment penalties arising from disputes regarding the quality or completeness of the Translator Interpreter services rendered.
- Cancellation and Termination: The Buyer may cancel this Purchase Order in whole or in part by providing fourteen (14) days' written notice prior to the scheduled start date. In the event of cancellation, the Supplier shall be compensated for any non-recoverable costs incurred up to the date of cancellation. The Buyer may terminate this Purchase Order immediately for cause, including but not limited to the Translator Interpreter's failure to appear at the Spain Barcelona venue or material breach of the confidentiality obligations.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed travel restrictions affecting Spain Barcelona, or public health emergencies.
By signing below, the authorized representatives of both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Translator Interpreter in Spain Barcelona.
