This Purchase Order is issued by Meridian Global Communications (Pvt) Ltd. to procure the professional services of a certified Translator Interpreter for a series of multilingual business conferences, bilateral trade negotiations, and corporate board meetings to be conducted in Sri Lanka Colombo over the period of July 2025 through September 2025. The Translator Interpreter shall provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services in Sinhala, Tamil, English, and Mandarin Chinese, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate communication for all stakeholders attending events in Sri Lanka Colombo.

The Translator Interpreter engaged under this Purchase Order shall fulfill the following obligations in Sri Lanka Colombo:

1. Provide a minimum of two (2) certified Translator Interpreter professionals per event day to ensure redundancy and continuity of service in Sri Lanka Colombo.
2. Deliver all interpretation services with a minimum accuracy rate of 97% as verified by the buyer's quality assurance team.
3. Submit all written translation deliverables in Microsoft Word and PDF formats within five (5) business days of receiving source documents.
4. Attend a mandatory pre-event briefing at the buyer's office in Colombo 03, Sri Lanka, no later than forty-eight (48) hours before each scheduled engagement.
5. Maintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary, financial, and strategic information encountered during the course of interpretation and translation work in Sri Lanka Colombo.
6. Provide a written post-event summary report within three (3) business days of each completed engagement.

1. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the supplier, in accordance with the terms of this Purchase Order.
2. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account held with Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Colombo Branch, Sri Lanka.
3. A 10% advance payment shall be released upon written confirmation of the Translator Interpreter assignment and receipt of a signed service agreement.
4. The remaining 90% shall be paid in two equal installments: 50% upon completion of the July 2025 engagements and 50% upon completion of all September 2025 deliverables.
5. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, calculated on the outstanding balance.
6. All amounts stated in this Purchase Order are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of all applicable local taxes unless otherwise specified.

1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the parties upon signature by both the buyer and the supplier.
2. The Translator Interpreter shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, including the Sri Lanka Institute of Translators and Interpreters (SLITI) professional code of conduct.
3. The supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of LKR 10,000,000 for the duration of this engagement in Sri Lanka Colombo.
4. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice in the event of material breach by the other party.
5. All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in accordance with the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1995.
6. The supplier shall not subcontract any portion of the Translator Interpreter services without prior written consent from the buyer.
7. All intellectual property rights in translated documents shall vest in the buyer upon full payment.
8. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
