This Purchase Order is issued to formally engage a University Lecturer for the academic year 2025/2026 at Sydney Metropolitan University, located in Australia Sydney. - Governing Law: This Purchase Order and the resulting engagement of the University Lecturer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia Sydney.
- Commencement Date: The University Lecturer engagement shall commence on 1 March 2026, subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks, including National Police Certificate, Working with Children Check, and academic credential verification as required for Australia Sydney-based higher education institutions.
- Payment Terms: All remuneration shall be paid on a fortnightly basis via direct deposit in accordance with the Australian Payroll Tax Act and the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth). - Compliance: The University Lecturer shall comply with all applicable Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW), as well as all institutional policies of Sydney Metropolitan University in Australia Sydney.
- Superannuation: The employer shall make superannuation contributions at the current statutory rate (11.5% as of 1 July 2025) into a registered superannuation fund nominated by the University Lecturer, in compliance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992 (Cth).
- Amendments: Any amendments to this Purchase Order must be made in writing and signed by both parties. Verbal modifications to the terms of this University Lecturer engagement are not binding.
