4.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Universidade Federal do Distrito Federal and the named University Lecturer for the provision of academic services in Brazil Brasília. All terms are governed by Brazilian federal procurement law (Lei nº 14.133/2021) and the institution's internal academic regulations.

4.2 The University Lecturer shall commence duties on 03 February 2026 and shall remain engaged for a period of twelve (12) months, subject to annual performance review by the Faculty Board in Brazil Brasília.

4.3 Payment shall be made in monthly installments via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account designated by the University Lecturer, within fifteen (15) business days following the submission of the monthly service report and corresponding invoice (Nota Fiscal).

4.4 The University Lecturer is required to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 90% for all scheduled lectures and seminars. Absences exceeding this threshold must be pre-approved in writing by the Department Chair.

4.5 All intellectual property, course materials, and research outputs produced under the scope of this Purchase Order shall remain the property of the institution, in accordance with Brazilian copyright law (Lei nº 9.610/1998).

4.6 The University Lecturer shall comply with all institutional policies regarding academic integrity, student conduct, and data protection (LGPD – Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Lei nº 13.709/2018) as applicable in Brazil Brasília.

4.7 Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination for cause, the University Lecturer shall be compensated only for services rendered up to the date of termination.

4.8 Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the internal mediation board of the university in Brazil Brasília before any external legal proceedings are initiated.

All services under this Purchase Order shall be delivered at the main campus of the Universidade Federal do Distrito Federal, located in the Darcy Ribeiro district of Brazil Brasília. The University Lecturer is expected to be physically present on campus for a minimum of 30 hours per week during the active teaching period. Remote delivery of administrative tasks is permitted only with prior written authorization from the Procurement Office.

This Purchase Order is authorized and approved by the undersigned representatives of the Universidade Federal do Distrito Federal. The University Lecturer acknowledges receipt and acceptance of all terms by signing below.
